100GBASE SR-10 MTP 24-Fiber OM3 Female Loopback Cable

Overview

The FT-100G-SR-OM3-2 is a loopback test cable for 100GBASE SR-10 optical ports, and it is not a networking transceiver. It terminates in a 24-fiber OM3 multimode MTP female connector and routes each transmit channel back into its matching receive channel. This lets a switch or network card test a port in isolation, with no link partner required. Field technicians use it for installation checks, fault isolation and factory burn-in to verify transceiver health, connector condition and link behavior. The cable needs no external power and plugs directly into standard 24-fiber MPO/MTP SR-10 interfaces.
