The FT-3916 from F-tone Networks is a single-fiber 62.5/125 um multimode sensor cable with copper braid armor and a flame-retardant jacket. The spiral metal tube and copper braid shield the fiber against external electromagnetic fields, limiting optical signal loss in power environments, while Kevlar strength members provide high tensile and crush resistance. Anti-static construction suits environments with electrostatic protection requirements. With a 3.8 mm diameter and a -20 to +90 degrees C rating, the cable is built for outdoor optical fiber communication and fiber optic sensing in electrically harsh locations.
