Product details
The FT-3922 from F-tone Networks is a single-fiber 50/125 um multimode sensor cable built with a copper braid armored construction and a flame-retardant jacket. A spiral metal armor layer combined with a copper braid shields the fiber from external electromagnetic fields, limiting optical signal loss in power environments, while Kevlar strength members provide high tensile and crush resistance. The cable also offers anti-static protection for locations with electrostatic discharge requirements. Rated for -20 to +90 degrees C, the FT-3922 fits outdoor optical fiber communication and fiber optic sensing where electromagnetic interference is a concern.
