Product details
The FT-900 from F-tone Networks is a 1-core 50/125 µm multimode sensing cable with copper braid and flame-retardant armoring for hostile service environments. It keeps operating at 200 °C to 250 °C and under 6 kV high voltage without affecting optical transmission, and the outer jacket meets RoHS requirements with a default black finish. The copper-braided layer blocks external electromagnetic fields from intruding on the fiber, gives the cable anti-static protection and adds high tensile and compression strength along with good flame retardance. Cable outer diameter is 3.8 mm at 25 kg/km, with a dynamic bend radius of 20D and static 10D. Long-term tension is 200 N (short-term 400 N) and crush resistance is 3000 N long-term, 5000 N short-term.
