32-Channel Digital Input Fiber Optic Multiplexer, 19-inch Rack

Overview

The FT-1312 is a 19-inch rack-mount fiber multiplexer that transmits 1 to 32 channels of unidirectional digital-input signals, or 16 channels of bidirectional digital-input signals, over optical fiber. The dual 1x9 optical ports provide 1+1 fiber backup, and the unit supports AC220V or DC-48V power with redundant power backup options.

By moving signals onto fiber, the multiplexer avoids electromagnetic interference, ground-loop interference and lightning damage found in copper runs, raising the reliability, safety and security of data communication. The chassis measures 485 x 200 x 45 mm and weighs 3 kg per unit.
