960/1000µm Step-Index PMMA Simplex Plastic Optical Fiber, 6.0mm Double Jacket

The FT-6-0MM-11 is a heavy-jacket simplex plastic optical fiber cable for the 650 nm visible band. Its 960 µm PMMA core and 1,000 µm step-index cladding provide efficient short-distance light transmission with simple coupling. A 6.0 mm double-layer PE jacket gives the cable extra crush and abrasion resistance for industrial routing and outdoor drops. The cable works from -45 to +75 °C and serves FTTH access, home and office intelligent networks, automotive wiring, and military or monitoring communication links. The fluorinated-polymer cladding keeps optical loss low across the visible band.
