960/1000µm Step-Index PMMA Simplex Plastic Optical Fiber, 5.0mm Double Jacket

The FT-5-0MM-3 carries a 960 µm PMMA core and 1,000 µm step-index cladding inside a robust 5.0 mm double-layer PE jacket. Built for the 650 nm visible band, the large-core plastic fiber is easy to terminate and route without precision alignment. The heavier double jacket shields the fiber during installation and long-term service in plant environments. With an operating range of -45 to +75 °C, it is suited to FTTH networks, smart home and office cabling, automotive and intelligent-device wiring, and industrial monitoring.
