Overview

The F-tone Networks FT-1-5M-OM3 is a compact 1.5m pre-terminated assembly carrying six OM3 multimode fibers between LC UPC connectors on both ends. The six-fiber count makes it a tidy fit for smaller uplinks, media converter pairs, and point-to-point runs where a twelve or twenty-four fiber trunk would be overkill. Like its larger siblings, it ships fully terminated and individually tested, holding insertion loss under 0.3dB so links perform predictably from day one. Laser-optimized OM3 fiber supports modern 10G and 40G short-reach connections with margin to spare. Slim 0.9mm breakout legs and a durable PVC jacket keep installation neat in crowded racks, and the -45C to +85C operating range covers a broad set of indoor plant conditions.
