Overview

The FT-155M-12 is a 155 Mbps 1x9 pigtail-style single-mode optical transceiver terminated with an SC connector, designed for 20 km links over single-mode fiber at 1310 nm. The pigtail form factor suits panel-mounted and space-constrained installations. Powered by a 3.3 V supply with an LVPECL signal interface, it serves SONET/SDH STM-1, Fast Ethernet and ATM equipment. Commercial (0 to 70 degC) and industrial (-40 to 85 degC) temperature versions are available, and the metal shield with plastic housing construction meets EMC Class A requirements. Customizable metallized connectors are available on request from F-tone Networks.
