The FT-BIDI-9 is an 84 Mbps bidirectional 1x9 optical transceiver terminated with an ST connector for single-fiber, single-mode links. The 1310 nm / 1550 nm wavelength pair delivers 20 km of reach while using only one fiber strand, a practical fit for access networks where fiber is scarce. It accepts 3.3 V or 5 V supplies with LVTTL/TTL signaling and comes in commercial (0 to 70 °C) and industrial (-40 to 85 °C) temperature versions for indoor and outdoor equipment.
