Overview

The FT-BIDI-13 is a 155 Mbps 1x9 bidirectional optical transceiver that carries both directions of traffic over a single single-mode fiber. It uses the bayonet ST connector, operates at 1310 nm, and supports links up to 20 km, making it a practical choice for doubling capacity on fiber-scarce routes. The module is supplied from 3.3 V with an LVPECL signal interface and uses a metal-shielded package designed to meet EMC-CLASS A requirements. Temperature options of 0 to 70 °C commercial and -40 to 85 °C industrial cover both indoor racks and outdoor installations. It is used together with a complementary module at the remote end.
