84M 1x9 ST Multimode Transceiver, 550M to 2KM

Overview

The FT-84M-8 is an 84Mbps 1x9 multimode transceiver offered with an ST optical connector in two reach options. The 850nm version covers up to 550 meters for short in-building runs, while the 1310nm version extends the reach to 2 kilometers for campus and industrial links. Both variants share the same 1x9 footprint, accept 3.3V or 5V supplies, and use an LVTTL/TTL electrical interface, so one board design supports either reach. Commercial (0 to 70 °C) and industrial (-40 to 85 °C) temperature grades are available across the series.
