84M 1x9 ST Multimode Transceiver, 850nm, 550M

Overview

The FT-84M-7 is an 84Mbps 1x9 multimode transceiver with an ST connector, transmitting at 850nm over multimode fiber for reaches up to 550 meters. It is intended for short-reach applications such as equipment-room links and in-building fiber runs where 1x9 modules remain in service. The module works with 3.3V or 5V supplies and communicates through an LVTTL/TTL electrical interface, which keeps integration straightforward on existing host boards. Both commercial (0 to 70 °C) and industrial (-40 to 85 °C) temperature ratings are offered, allowing deployment in air-conditioned telecom rooms as well as in more demanding plant environments.
