Overview

The FT-84M-50 delivers 84 Mb/s over single-mode fiber up to 40 km through an ST receptacle, driven by a 1310 nm transmitter. It is a practical choice for mid-reach sub-rate transport in telecom infrastructure. Power options of 3.3 V and 5 V with LVTTL/TTL logic levels simplify system design. The module ships in commercial (0 to 70 °C) and industrial (-40 to 85 °C) versions. A through-hole 1x9 package enables secure board mounting. SC and FC receptacle or pigtail options in the same series fit other cabling layouts.
