Overview

The FT-84M-49 is a 20 km, 84 Mb/s 1x9 transceiver with an ST receptacle for single-mode fiber. A 1310 nm transmitter provides the optical output for short to medium sub-rate links. The unit works from 3.3 V or 5 V and signals in LVTTL/TTL levels. Temperature coverage includes 0 to 70 °C commercial and -40 to 85 °C industrial grades. Its compact 1x9 through-hole form factor fits dense transmission boards. The series extends the same design to SC and FC receptacle or pigtail versions.
