The FT-84M-21 is an 84 Mbps 1x9 single-mode fiber optic receiver module with an ST receptacle interface for spans up to 60 km. It is intended for single-mode fiber links in telecom, power utility and industrial communication systems that need reliable extended reach. The module operates from 3.3 V or 5 V supplies and uses LVTTL/TTL signal levels for straightforward integration. Commercial (0 to 70 °C) and industrial (-40 to 85 °C) temperature grades are offered, and a pigtail optical interface option is available for pigtail-terminated installations.
