The FT-622M-12 is a 622 Mbps optical transceiver built on the 1x9 footprint, pairing an ST optical connector with single-mode fiber for long-reach telecom links. It transmits over 1310 nm for spans up to 60 km and 1550 nm for 80 and 100 km distances, covering STM-4/OC-12 class interfaces. Running on a 3.3 V supply with LVPECL electrical signaling, the module suits central-office, access, and industrial transmission equipment. Commercial (0 to 70 °C) and extended industrial (-40 to 85 °C) temperature grades are available, and the 1x9 package supports both receptacle and pigtail optical interface options.
