Overview

The FT-2M-22 is a 2 Mbps 1x9 single-mode optical transceiver with a bayonet-style ST connector for 20 km links. Its 1310 nm Fabry-Perot laser transmitter covers campus, building and industrial spans on standard single-mode fiber. The locking ST interface resists vibration and accidental unplugging, a practical fit for factory floors and utility cabinets. Running from a 3.3 V or 5 V supply with LVTTL/TTL electrical signaling, the module connects directly to legacy control cards. The industry-standard 1x9 footprint makes it a field-replaceable spare for installed equipment.
