Overview

The FT-2M-17 is a 2Mbps 1x9 optical transceiver module for single-mode fiber links, reaching up to 40km. It uses an ST bayonet connector and transmits at 1310nm, fitting long serial spans across campuses, industrial parks and metropolitan links. The module runs from a 3.3V or 5V supply with LVTTL/TTL signal levels, integrating smoothly with existing serial interface boards. Commercial (0 to 70°C) and industrial (-40 to 85°C) temperature grades cover both telecom rooms and field enclosures. Its standard 1x9 footprint keeps the module a direct mechanical fit for equipment designed around 1x9 sockets.
