Overview

The FT-2M-16 is a 2Mbps 1x9 optical transceiver module for single-mode fiber links. It uses an ST bayonet connector for quick, dependable field mating, and transmits at 1310nm over distances of up to 20km. The module operates from a 3.3V or 5V supply with LVTTL/TTL signal levels, fitting directly onto existing serial boards. Commercial (0 to 70°C) and industrial (-40 to 85°C) temperature grades suit both indoor racks and harsh field sites. The industry-standard 1x9 footprint keeps the FT-2M-16 mechanically interchangeable with other 1x9 transceivers.
