Overview
The FT-155M-3 is a 155 Mbps 1x9 optical transceiver series for multimode fiber networks. Fitted with the bayonet-style ST connector, it offers two wavelength choices: 850 nm for reaches up to 550 m and 1310 nm for reaches up to 2 km over multimode fiber. The 155 Mbps rate matches SDH STM-1 and Fast Ethernet over fiber, fitting access and enterprise backbones. The module runs from 3.3 V with an LVPECL signal interface and comes in a metal-shielded package designed to meet EMC-CLASS A requirements. Commercial and industrial temperature ranges of 0 to 70 °C and -40 to 85 °C keep it stable in both wiring closets and harsher field cabinets.
