Overview

The FT-10M-6 is a 10 Mbps 1x9 optical transceiver module with a bayonet ST connector, designed for short multimode Fast Ethernet links at 850 nm. It reaches up to 550 m, matching common intra-building and campus distribution distances. The 1x9 metal package fits through-hole host boards in legacy Ethernet switches, media converters, and industrial automation equipment. It runs from 3.3 V or 5 V supplies with LVTTL/TTL signal levels, and it is offered in commercial (0 to 70 °C) and industrial (-40 to 85 °C) temperature grades. The ST bayonet coupling locks positively, keeping the optical path secure in installations subject to movement or vibration.
