1.25G SFP BiDi Single-Fiber Optical Transceiver

Overview

The FT-SFP-1-25G-BIDI is a 1.25 Gbps bidirectional (BiDi) SFP transceiver that transmits and receives on a single strand of fiber using two paired wavelengths, cutting the fiber needed for a link in half. The underlying FTFP-GE-B module series is built as wavelength-matched pairs: one end transmits on the short wavelength while receiving on the long one (for example 1310 nm TX with 1550 nm RX, and the reverse), so the two modules are deployed at opposite ends of the same fiber. Terminated with LC or SC connectors over single-mode fiber, the series spans 20 km to 120 km on a 3.3 V supply, with commercial (0 to 70 C) and industrial (-40 to 85 C) temperature grades.
