Overview
The FT-SFPPLUS-1-25G-2 is the F-tone Networks 1.25 Gbps CWDM SFP+ transceiver family, with reach options of 20 km, 40 km, 80 km and 120 km per the FTSPD-03C series table. The 20 km variant uses an FP laser, while the 40 km and 80 km variants use DFB lasers; the 120 km variant pairs a DFB transmitter with a more sensitive APD receiver to close the longer link budget. All variants run at 1.25 Gbps from a 3.3 V supply and are offered in commercial (0 to 70 C) and industrial (-40 to 85 C) temperature grades. CWDM channelization allows several of these modules to share one fiber pair through passive multiplexers.
