The FT-BIDI-8 is an 84 Mbps bidirectional optical transceiver in the 1x9 form factor, designed for long-reach single-fiber links. With an SC connector and single-mode fiber, it offers wavelength options at 1310 nm, 1490 nm and 1550 nm to cover 60, 80 and 100 km spans, so one fiber strand carries both directions of traffic. It runs on 3.3 V or 5 V with LVTTL/TTL levels, and is available in commercial and industrial temperature grades for access, utility, and long-haul legacy transport applications.
