Overview

The FT-BIDI-2 is a 2 Mbps 1x9 transceiver that sends and receives over a single multi-mode fiber, halving the fiber needed for each link. Equipped with an SC push-pull connector, it works at 1310 or 1550 nm and reaches up to 2 km on multi-mode fiber, fitting building and campus backbones. Power supply options are 3.3 V or 5 V with LVTTL or TTL signal levels, matching common industrial interfaces. Commercial (0 to 70 °C) and industrial (-40 to 85 °C) grades cover both controlled equipment rooms and extended-temperature enclosures. The FT-BIDI-2 suits cost-sensitive upgrades where existing multi-mode plant must carry more channels without new cabling.
