The FT-84M-5 is an 84 Mbps multimode 1x9 transceiver with an SC connector, operating at 850 nm for links up to 550 m. It targets short-reach in-building and campus multimode connections for industrial control, legacy networking, and access equipment. With 3.3 V / 5 V supply options and LVTTL/TTL signaling, it integrates easily into existing platforms, in commercial or industrial temperature grades. The SC connector matches common in-building patch panels, and the standard 1x9 footprint supports drop-in replacement in legacy line cards and media converters.
