84M 1x9 SC Singlemode Transceiver, 1550nm, 100km

Overview

The FT-84M-46 is an 84 Mbps 1x9 singlemode optical transceiver with an SC connector, rated for up to 100 km on singlemode fiber using 1550 nm transmission. It is the longest-reach SC variant of the F-tone Networks 84M legacy family, designed for very long low-speed SDH/SONET and telemetry circuits that must run without intermediate equipment.

The SC push-pull connector allows quick, tool-free mating in dense field panels while staying firmly latched once engaged. Electrically the module follows the 1x9 standard with LVTTL/TTL levels and a selectable 3.3 V or 5 V supply, and the family specification lists 0℃ to 70℃ commercial plus -40℃ to 85℃ industrial temperature operation.
