Overview

The FT-84M-44 is an 84 Mbps 1x9 singlemode transceiver with an SC connector, specified for up to 20 km over singlemode fiber at 1310 nm. It is part of the F-tone Networks 84M legacy module series, which supplies compatible replacements for installed SDH/SONET equipment and low-speed industrial optical links.

The SC push-pull connector makes installation and servicing fast, with a positive latch that keeps the optical path secure in the panel. The module uses LVTTL/TTL signaling and can be powered from 3.3 V or 5 V, matching the classic 1x9 footprint, and the family specification covers 0℃ to 70℃ commercial and -40℃ to 85℃ industrial temperature operation.
