Overview

The FT-84M-14 is a single-mode receive-only module in the 1x9 package, operating at 84Mb/s with an SC optical connector. It receives 1310nm signals over single-mode fiber up to 20 kilometers, fitting metro access links and short regional spans at receive-only nodes. The module works with 3.3V or 5V supplies and delivers an LVTTL/TTL electrical output that connects directly to host logic. It is available for commercial (0 to 70 °C) and industrial (-40 to 85 °C) temperature ranges, making it a practical drop-in receiver for networks that still maintain 1x9 module slots.
