Overview

The FT-2M-21 pairs a 2 Mbps 1x9 optical interface with an SC connector and a 40 km single-mode reach. Its 1310 nm Fabry-Perot laser transmitter provides the optical budget for extended utility, campus and rural control spans. The SC push-pull connector simplifies installation and maintenance on busy patch panels, while the 3.3 V or 5 V supply and LVTTL/TTL signaling drop into legacy host designs without glue logic. Housed in the industry-standard 1x9 package, the module is field-replaceable for equipment refresh and sparing programs. F-tone Networks offers the FT-2M-21 for SCADA telemetry, substation monitoring and remote control networks that need a dependable long-hop optical link at low data rates.
