Overview

The FT-2M-20 is a 2 Mbps 1x9 single-mode optical transceiver with an SC connector for low-rate data and control links. Its 1310 nm Fabry-Perot laser transmitter reaches 20 km over standard single-mode fiber, serving campus backbones and industrial networks. The push-pull SC interface simplifies patching and suits dense front panels where many ports sit side by side. Powered from 3.3 V or 5 V with LVTTL/TTL electrical signaling, the module matches legacy control cards without level shifting. In the industry-standard 1x9 package it works as a field-replaceable optical interface for equipment already deployed.
