Overview

The FT-2M-15 is a 2Mbps 1x9 optical transceiver module for single-mode fiber links, extending reach to 40km. It uses an SC push-pull connector and transmits at 1310nm, fitting long serial spans across campuses and industrial parks. The module works from a 3.3V or 5V supply with LVTTL/TTL signal levels, so it mounts directly onto existing serial boards. Commercial (0 to 70°C) and industrial (-40 to 85°C) temperature grades cover both telecom rooms and field enclosures. Its standard 1x9 footprint keeps mechanical integration straightforward for equipment built around 1x9 sockets.
