Overview

The FT-2M-10 is a 2Mbps 1x9 optical transceiver module for single-mode fiber links. It uses an SC push-pull connector and transmits at 1310nm over distances of up to 20km, fitting mid-range serial and telecom connections. The module runs from a 3.3V or 5V supply with LVTTL/TTL signal levels, so it drops directly onto existing serial interface boards. Commercial (0 to 70°C) and industrial (-40 to 85°C) temperature grades cover both indoor racks and harsh field environments. The standard 1x9 footprint keeps the module mechanically compatible with equipment designed around 1x9 sockets.
