Overview

The FT-10M-5 is a 10 Mbps 1x9 optical transceiver module with a push-pull SC connector, built for short multimode Fast Ethernet links at 850 nm. It supports distances up to 550 m, which covers typical floor-to-floor and rack-to-rack runs inside commercial buildings. The 1x9 metal package mounts directly on host boards in legacy switches, media converters, and industrial controllers. It operates from 3.3 V or 5 V supplies with LVTTL/TTL signal levels, and commercial (0 to 70 °C) and industrial (-40 to 85 °C) temperature grades are available. The SC receptacle makes patching fast and tool-free during installation and equipment moves.
