Overview

The FT-10M-21 is a 10 Mbps 1x9 optical transceiver designed for long-reach single-mode fiber links. Fitted with an SC connector, it transmits at 1310 nm and supports spans of up to 40 km over standard single-mode fiber, removing the need for intermediate repeaters on extended routes. The module runs from either 3.3 V or 5 V and uses an LVTTL/TTL signal interface, fitting the classic 1x9 footprint common in legacy industrial and telecom equipment. The commercial temperature range of 0 to 70 °C suits indoor installations, while an industrial version rated from -40 to 85 °C keeps operation stable in cabinets exposed to harsher conditions.
