The family transmits and receives over one single-mode fiber using 1310/1550 nm and 1490/1550 nm wavelength pairs, operates from 3.3 V with LVPECL levels, and is listed in commercial and industrial temperature grades. With EMC Class A shielding from the metal housing and a grounding industrial option rated from -40 to 105 °C, the modules hold a stable link across extended unrepeated spans.
