Overview

The FT-QSFP28-100G-SR4-850 is a 100G QSFP28 SR4 multimode transceiver for short-reach 100 m links at 850 nm. It serves data centers that keep scaling port density: one QSFP28 cage delivers a full 100 Gb/s to a top-of-rack switch, aggregation switch or storage array while reusing installed multimode MPO cabling. The 850 nm VCSEL design keeps cost and power in line for large deployments. Typical uses include server access, switch interconnects and in-building backbones where multimode fiber is already in place.
