Overview

The FT-QSFP28-100G-5 is a 100G QSFP28 optical transceiver family built for data center and telecom networks that need flexible reach options. The series covers four standard variants: SR4 for 100 m links over multimode fiber at 850 nm, LR4 for 10 km single-mode links at 1310 nm, ER4 for 40 km, and ZR4 for 80 km. Each variant pairs its laser and receiver to the distance, from VCSEL plus PIN on short reach to EML plus APD or PIN with SOA on the long-reach models. Commercial and industrial temperature versions are available across the range, so one platform fits both controlled and harsh environments.
