Overview

The FT-BIDI is a 2 Mbps 1x9 optical transceiver module designed for single-fiber bidirectional links, carrying transmit and receive over one fiber to save fiber resources. Fitted with an FC threaded connector, it operates over single-mode fiber at 1310 or 1550 nm and reaches up to 20 km. The module supports 3.3 V or 5 V supply with LVTTL or TTL signal levels, and is available in commercial (0 to 70 °C) or industrial (-40 to 85 °C) temperature ranges. Built for stable low-speed industrial and access networks, the FT-BIDI suits point-to-point links where fiber count is limited and reliability matters more than raw bandwidth.
