The FT-84M-43 is an 84 Mbps 1x9 singlemode transceiver with an FC connector, specified for up to 100 km over singlemode fiber at 1550 nm. It is the longest-reach FC member of the F-tone Networks 84M legacy series, built for carriers that must bridge very long low-speed SDH/SONET or telemetry spans with a single module.
The vibration-resistant FC screw connector suits remote cabinets and outdoor installations where service visits are infrequent. The module adheres to 1x9 electrical practice with LVTTL/TTL signaling and 3.3 V or 5 V supply selection, and the family table includes both commercial 0℃ to 70℃ and industrial -40℃ to 85℃ temperature operation.
