84M 1x9 FC Singlemode Transceiver, 1550nm, 80km

Overview

The FT-84M-42 is an 84 Mbps 1x9 singlemode optical transceiver with an FC connector, rated for up to 80 km on singlemode fiber using 1550 nm transmission. It is the long-reach FC variant in the F-tone Networks 84M legacy family, intended for operators linking distant sites over low-speed SDH/SONET circuits without regeneration.

With its screw-lock FC connector, the module maintains a firm optical connection in cabinets exposed to vibration or temperature cycling. The electrical interface follows the established 1x9 pattern with LVTTL/TTL levels and a choice of 3.3 V or 5 V supply, and the family specification covers 0℃ to 70℃ commercial as well as -40℃ to 85℃ industrial temperatures.
