Overview

The FT-84M-12 is a receive-only 84Mb/s module in the 1x9 form factor, designed for single-mode fiber spans reaching up to 80 kilometers. It uses an FC optical connector and functions as the receive end of very long 84Mb/s links, such as inter-office trunks or remote monitoring points. Power options include 3.3V and 5V rails, and the electrical interface follows LVTTL/TTL levels. The module is offered in commercial (0 to 70 °C) and industrial (-40 to 85 °C) temperature grades to cover both indoor and outdoor installations.
