The FT-84M is an 84 Mbps multimode optical transceiver in the 1x9 package, equipped with an FC connector. Operating at 1310 nm over multimode fiber, it reaches 2 km — a fit for campus backbones, industrial control links, and legacy access equipment where multimode plant is already installed. The module supports 3.3 V or 5 V supplies with LVTTL/TTL electrical levels, and is offered in commercial (0 to 70 °C) and industrial (-40 to 85 °C) temperature grades for varied field conditions.
