Overview

The FT-2M-2 is a 2 Mbps 1x9 multi-mode transceiver for short-reach links up to 550 m. Its FC threaded connector and 850 nm source make it a solid fit for indoor industrial networks and equipment interconnections. The module operates from 3.3 V or 5 V with LVTTL or TTL signal levels, and is available in commercial (0 to 70 °C) and industrial (-40 to 85 °C) temperature ranges. Compact 1x9 packaging and standard electrical interfaces ease both replacement and new designs. The FT-2M-2 serves control cabinets, machine-to-machine links and other low-speed optical connections inside facilities.
