Overview

The FT-2M is a 2 Mbps 1x9 multi-mode optical transceiver designed for medium-reach industrial links. It uses an FC threaded connector and a 1310 nm source to reach up to 2 km over multi-mode fiber, giving reliable connectivity for control and automation networks. The module runs on 3.3 V or 5 V with LVTTL or TTL signal levels, simplifying integration with both legacy and modern control hardware. It is offered in commercial (0 to 70 °C) and industrial (-40 to 85 °C) temperature ranges for different installation environments. The FT-2M is suited to point-to-point links in factories, transportation systems and building automation.
