The FT-155M-5 is a 155 Mbps 1x9 optical transceiver for longer single-mode access links. It pairs a threaded FC connector with a 1310 nm transmitter to reach up to 40 km over standard single-mode fiber, extending reach between central offices and remote sites without regeneration. The module runs from 3.3 V with an LVPECL signal interface in the classic 1x9 footprint and uses a metal-shielded package designed to meet EMC-CLASS A requirements. Commercial and industrial temperature options cover 0 to 70 °C and -40 to 85 °C. It fits SDH/SONET and Fast Ethernet over fiber deployments that need extra reach.
