Overview

The FT-10M-8 is a 10 Mbps receiver-only (RX) 1x9 optical module with a threaded FC connector, intended for single-fiber Fast Ethernet topologies where transmit and receive functions sit on separate modules. It receives at 1310 nm over single-mode fiber with reaches up to 20 km, pairing with a matching transmit module on the far end. The 1x9 metal package fits through-hole host boards in access multiplexers, media converters, and industrial network equipment. It operates from 3.3 V or 5 V supplies with LVTTL/TTL signal levels, and commercial (0 to 70 °C) and industrial (-40 to 85 °C) temperature grades are available for controlled and harsh environments.
