Overview

The FT-10M-2 is a 10 Mbps 1x9 optical transceiver module with a threaded FC connector, optimized for short multimode links at 850 nm. It supports reaches up to 550 m, a range that covers most intra-building and floor-to-floor Fast Ethernet runs. The 1x9 metal package fits through-hole host boards in legacy switches, media converters, and industrial controllers. It draws power from 3.3 V or 5 V rails with LVTTL/TTL signal levels, and commercial (0 to 70 °C) as well as industrial (-40 to 85 °C) temperature grades are available. The FC coupling gives a secure, vibration-resistant optical connection for fixed installations.
