Overview

The FT-10M-12 is a 10 Mbps 1x9 optical transceiver module with a threaded FC connector, built for single-mode fiber at 1310 nm. The screw-type coupling holds the connection firmly in place, which suits vibration-prone industrial environments. With a 20 km reach, the module extends 10 Mbps Ethernet links between buildings or across factory floors. It follows series model FT-ST132-F* and draws power from either 3.3 V or 5 V. Signal levels are LVTTL/TTL, so host boards need no level translation. Commercial and industrial temperature grades (0 to 70 °C and -40 to 85 °C) cover both office and outdoor installations. The 1x9 package keeps mounting simple on through-hole boards.
